NaNoWriMo is fast approaching, and I'm scared as all hell. I mean, I love it, but I get insanely competitive and end up plugging 5,000 words a day for the first week, which really eats into my assignment-getting-doneness as well as my mental stability.
My plan for year #3 is to allot 25,000 words to expanding/finishing Darkness Surrounding (which would weigh in at around 75,000 words total) and to allot the other 25,000 to finishing Flowers When You're Dead (which would weigh in around 65,000 words). This is a huge deal because after November, my Big Three projects will be, aside from editing and slight revisions, done. I won't have any non-Atavists "novels in progress" hanging over my head and will finally have the chance to start The Red Rider and a couple of other projects I've put on the back-burner.
Basically, I'll have written five novels in various stages before turning twenty. (Do note that I don't have a social life.)
